Pennsylvania SB306 amends the Pennsylvania Election Code to enhance transparency and accessibility of ballot question explanations. The Attorney General must prepare a plain English statement detailing the purpose, limitations, and effects of proposed constitutional amendments or statewide ballot questions. The Secretary of the Commonwealth must then include this statement in the publication of the proposed amendment and post a detailed account of the publication process on the Department of State's website.
