Pennsylvania SB299 establishes the Pennsylvania Promise Program to provide scholarships for tuition, fees, and room and board for eligible students.

Pennsylvania SB299 amends the Public School Code of 1949 to establish the Pennsylvania Promise Program within the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency. The program provides scholarships for tuition and fees, as well as room and board, to eligible students attending State-owned institutions, State-related institutions, or community colleges. Eligible students must meet certain income limits and enrollment criteria. The program also includes provisions for aid for adult reeducation.
