Pennsylvania SB201 amends the organization of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency.

Pennsylvania SB201 amends Title 35 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to revise the organization of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. The bill establishes the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Council, composed of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Adjutant General, and various state officials. The Governor appoints a director to supervise the State Civil Defense and Disaster Program, subject to Senate consent. The director acts as the chairman's assistant in civil defense and disaster matters and coordinates local disaster responses.
