Pennsylvania SB199 sets a timeline for the General Assembly to pass a complete and balanced general appropriation bill.

Pennsylvania SB199 amends the Administrative Code of 1929 to establish a timeline for the General Assembly to pass a complete and balanced general appropriation bill. Each chamber must pass such a bill by the second full week of May. If no complete and balanced general appropriation bill has been passed by June 15, the chamber that has not passed one must vote on the bill passed by the other chamber. The act will take effect in 60 days.
