Pennsylvania SB185 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to allow vehicles, excluding motor carrier vehicles, with a gross vehicle weight of 14,000 pounds or less to use an ornamental lamp bar or auxiliary lighting strip in combination with the vehicle's rear stop lamps. The lamp bar or strip must match the color of the stop lamps and may contain light-emitting diode bulbs. It must also be in safe operating condition and comply with department regulations. This act will take effect in 60 days.
