Pennsylvania SB133 proposes an amendment to the state constitution to provide real property tax exemptions for veterans and their surviving spouses. Eligible veterans who served in any war or armed conflict and were honorably discharged, or those who are 100% disabled as determined by the U.S. Department of Defense or the Department of Veterans Affairs, can receive exemptions if the State Veterans' Commission determines they are in need. Surviving spouses of veterans who died in service or from service-related injuries can also receive exemptions.
