Pennsylvania SB1297 amends the Computer Data Center Equipment Incentive Program to add new eligibility requirements for certification. Beginning January 1, 2030, a computer data center must purchase 100% of its annual electric load from a Tier I alternative energy source and demonstrate sufficient investment in environmental management and energy efficiency measures. The owner or operator must also submit an application for certification, which includes an affirmation signed by an authorized executive. The bill also revises the notification, revocation, and separation of facilities provisions.
