Pennsylvania SB1267 amends the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act to adjust civil penalties for discriminatory practices based on the Consumer Price Index. Beginning in fiscal year 2026-2027, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission will determine the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers: All Items (CPI-U) for the United States City Average. If the percentage change is positive, the Commission will adjust the civil penalties for discriminatory practices accordingly. The adjusted civil penalty amounts will take effect July 1 of each fiscal year.
