Pennsylvania SB1265 provides for consumer diesel fuel tax relief and authorizes Commonwealth indebtedness for capital projects.

Pennsylvania SB1265 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to provide a 100% reduction in the tax on diesel fuel for consumers for a period of 60 days. The bill also authorizes the Commonwealth to incur additional debt up to $197,000,000 for capital projects, with repayment charged to the Motor License Fund. The net proceeds from the sale of obligations are appropriated to the department to cover financial costs of capital projects. The debt is incurred in accordance with the Capital Facilities Debt Enabling Act.
