Pennsylvania SB1252 amends the Prothonotary Fee Law to permit an automation fee of up to $10 for the initiation of any action or legal proceeding in counties of the second class A and the third through eighth class, including home rule counties. The fee is to be deposited into a special prothonotary automation fund in each county, used solely for automation and continued automation updates of the prothonotary's office.
