Pennsylvania SB1141 modifies the creditable nonschool and nonstate service limits for retirement benefits. It increases the maximum allowable military service credit from five to ten years, with a cap of ten years total across both the Public School Employees' Retirement System and the State Employees' Retirement System. Additionally, it sets a limit on the total creditable nonstate service. The changes will take effect 60 days after the act's passage.
