Pennsylvania SB1140 amends the National Human Trafficking Resource Center Hotline Notification Act to require public lodging establishments and third-party listing platforms to ensure that employees and contract workers complete human trafficking awareness training. The training must cover legal definitions, identification and recognition of trafficking signs, differences between labor and sex trafficking, and reporting procedures. The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency will approve training programs and publish a list of approved courses.
