Pennsylvania SB1113 introduces regulations for the use of artificial intelligence in health care facilities, insurers, and Medicaid or CHIP managed care plans. Facilities must disclose the use of AI in clinical decision-making and ensure AI algorithms do not supersede health care provider decisions. Insurers and managed care plans must also disclose AI use in utilization review and ensure AI does not create harm or discriminate.
