Introduced·11/17/25
Introduced Text

Pennsylvania SB1096 provides supplemental funding for rural infrastructure, specifically for bridge projects on non-Federal aid highways.

Pennsylvania SB1096 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to authorize the Department of Transportation to incur debt for capital bridge projects on three or four digit State routes on the non-Federal aid highway system. The maximum principal amount of additional debt is set at $600,000,000. The net proceeds from the sale of obligations are appropriated to the department to be used exclusively for these bridge projects.
