Pennsylvania SB1035 amends the Medical Marijuana Act to allow terminally ill patients to use medical marijuana in health care facilities.

Pennsylvania SB1035 amends the Medical Marijuana Act to allow terminally ill patients to use medical marijuana in health care facilities. Health care facilities must prohibit smoking or vaping of medical marijuana, include its use in patients' medical records, and require patients to provide identification or documentation. Facilities may suspend compliance if federal agencies prohibit medical marijuana use. Compliance with the act does not affect facility licensure. The act takes effect in 60 days.
