Pennsylvania SB1006 proposes an amendment to the state constitution to expand real property tax exemptions for veterans and their surviving spouses. The amendment would exempt veterans rated at 100% disability by the federal government from all real property taxes. It would also exempt the unmarried surviving spouse of a service member who died in the line of duty, was taken as a prisoner of war, or was declared missing in action.
