Introduced Text

Designates the week of March 16 through 20, 2026, as "Pennsylvania Ag Literacy Week" in Pennsylvania.

The bill designates the week of March 16 through 20, 2026, as "Pennsylvania Ag Literacy Week" in Pennsylvania. This week focuses on connecting volunteers from the agricultural community to local classrooms to share the story of agriculture. Volunteers will read the 2026 "Pennsylvania Ag Literacy Week" book, "Cows Can MOO! Can You? All About Farms" by Dr. Seuss, and share their own stories of farming and agriculture. The Pennsylvania Friends of Agriculture Foundation and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau are the originators of this initiative.
