Pennsylvania HR415 instructs the Joint State Government Commission to conduct a comprehensive study on the trauma-informed care training provided to law enforcement officers under Act 59 of 2020. The study will examine how officers are trained, the frequency of such training, the qualifications of training providers, and the effects of the training on reducing incidents of violence. The Commission will also analyze available data on the number of officers trained and the impact of the training on interactions with trauma-affected individuals.
