Pennsylvania HB911 provides health benefits to surviving family members of law enforcement officers who die in the line of duty or are disabled in.

Pennsylvania HB911 amends Title 53 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to provide health benefits for surviving family members of law enforcement officers who die or are disabled in the line of duty. The surviving spouse of a deceased officer is entitled to full health benefits for life, while eligible dependents receive benefits until they turn 26, provided they are not covered by another employer-sponsored health plan. If the officer is disabled, both the officer and their spouse are entitled to full health benefits for life.
