Pennsylvania HB90 amends the Human Services Code to require applicants and recipients of public assistance to cooperate with the department in securing medical support from noncustodial parents. This applies unless it endangers the child's well-being or if the custodial parent is a victim of domestic violence. The bill prohibits private agreements that result in the child foregoing available medical support and mandates that medical assistance be provided without delay while the department determines the noncustodial parent's ability to provide support.
