Pennsylvania HB889 amends the duties of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs to include maintaining a list of veterans who are incarcerated and encouraging their voter registration. It also adds duties for the Deputy Adjutant General for Veterans' Affairs, such as aiding in the rehabilitation of injured veterans in educational institutions and cooperating with the Department of Education on career and technical training programs. The bill takes effect in 60 days.
