Pennsylvania HB865 amends the Military Family Education Program to redefine eligibility and grant limitations.

Pennsylvania HB865 amends Title 51 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to redefine eligibility and grant limitations for the Military Family Education Program. The bill specifies that a family member is eligible if the member has accepted an obligation to serve in the Pennsylvania National Guard for six years. It also limits the number of academic years or credit hours that can be assigned to family members. The program benefit is renewable with each six-year service commitment in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
