Pennsylvania HB85 amends the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act to define antisemitism for the Jewish faith.

Pennsylvania HB85 amends the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act to include a specific definition of antisemitism for the Jewish faith. This definition incorporates the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's definition of antisemitism from May 2016 and its contemporary examples. The bill clarifies that criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country is not included in the definition. The changes will take effect 60 days after the act's passage.
