Pennsylvania HB843 amends the Manufactured Home Community Rights Act to provide procedures for the sale of a manufactured home community to residents.

Pennsylvania HB843 amends the act of November 24, 1976, known as the Manufactured Home Community Rights Act, to provide procedures for the sale of a manufactured home community to residents or a nonprofit organization. The bill requires the owner to consider offers from resident associations representing at least 25% of the spaces and negotiate in good faith. If the owner and the resident association cannot agree on a purchase price, the association has the right to purchase the community.
