Pennsylvania HB808 amends Title 42 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to remove time limits for prosecuting certain serious offenses. Prosecutions may now be commenced at any time for offenses including murder, voluntary manslaughter, conspiracy to commit murder, and any felony related to murder. Additionally, offenses against nonverbal care-dependent persons, such as simple assault, neglect, and abuse, can also be prosecuted without time limits. The act takes effect in 60 days.
