Pennsylvania HB789 amends the Property Assessed Clean Energy Program to include electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects. The bill ensures that any tax amount required to be paid to the Department of Revenue for the charging of electric vehicles using facilities or equipment completed under the electric vehicle charging infrastructure project is collected. It also mandates that municipalities or counties that approve such projects notify the Department of Revenue upon completion. The bill takes effect in 60 days.
