Pennsylvania HB770 mandates institutions of higher education to notify students of tuition increases at least 45 days in advance.

Pennsylvania HB770 amends the Public School Code of 1949 to require institutions of higher education to notify all enrolled students of any tuition increase at least 45 days before billing. The notice must be sent electronically and by mail, and include the prior year's tuition amount, the current tuition amount, and the dollar and percent amount of the increase. This act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
