Chamber Passed·5/7/25
Introduced Text

Pennsylvania HB754 amends the County Pension Law to adjust cost-of-living increases for supplemental benefits.

Pennsylvania HB754 amends the County Pension Law to modify the process for reviewing and adjusting cost-of-living increases for supplemental benefits. The bill specifies that the board must review these increases at least once every three years and may adjust the monthly benefit by up to, but no more than, the percentages in accordance with the cost-of-living index at the time of review. The adjustment need not be calculated retroactively and does not require applying the cost-of-living index change for each year since the previous increase.
