Pennsylvania HB722 amends the definition of "cremation" in the state's statutes.

Pennsylvania HB722 amends Title 1 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to clarify the definition of "cremation." The bill specifies that cremation includes the processing and pulverization of bone fragments and the placement of the processed remains in a cremated remains container. This definition applies to any statute enacted on or after September 1, 1937, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. The act will take effect 60 days after its enactment.
