Pennsylvania HB709 proposes a tax credit for creating motor carrier parking spaces.

HB709 amends Title 74 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to introduce a tax credit for creating motor carrier parking spaces. Eligible taxpayers can receive up to $5,000 per space, not exceeding $100,000 per taxpayer. To qualify, applicants must create at least five spaces on property they own or lease, within one mile of specified highways, and zoned for commercial or industrial use.
