Pennsylvania HB692 amends Title 34 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to refine the definition of "exotic wildlife" in wildlife permit regulations. The updated definition includes nonindigenous animals and specific species such as bears, lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, cheetahs, cougars, and their crossbreeds. It excludes birds, horses, camels, deer, wild cattle, rats, mice, chinchillas, rabbits, hedgehogs, gliders, domestic ferrets, and domestic guinea pigs. The changes apply regardless of whether the animals were bred in captivity or imported.
