Introduced·1/14/25
Introduced Text

Pennsylvania HB68 limits the assignment of State-owned vehicles to State officials, prohibiting new assignments and leases after the effective date.

Pennsylvania HB68, known as the State-Owned Vehicle Assignment Limitation Act, restricts the assignment of State-owned vehicles to State officials. Specifically, it prohibits the assignment of a different State-owned vehicle or leasing a vehicle using Commonwealth funds to a State official after the bill's effective date. Exceptions are made for State officials whose duties require a vehicle for emergency response. Officials who had a State-owned vehicle or leased vehicle before the effective date can continue using it until they are no longer eligible under previous rules.
