Introduced Text

Pennsylvania HB67 ensures outdoor solar access for drying clothes in condominiums, cooperatives, and planned communities.

Pennsylvania HB67 amends Title 68 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to allow outdoor solar access for drying clothes in condominiums, cooperatives, and planned communities. It prohibits associations from imposing unreasonable restrictions on this access, provided it is within approved areas and out of view from public areas. Associations may set reasonable rules regarding the time, place, and manner of drying clothes, and can prohibit it if it poses safety hazards, impedes evacuation, or obstructs views or access. This act takes effect in 60 days.
