Pennsylvania HB65 amends Title 23 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to modify relatives' liability and procedure for indigent care. It exempts children from supporting parents who abandoned them for ten years during the child's minority. The bill also adjusts the liability for relatives of indigent individuals receiving long-term services and supports, setting the amount by the court in the judicial district where the indigent person resides. The act takes effect immediately.
