Pennsylvania HB615 amends the Donated Food Limited Liability Act to provide immunity from criminal or civil liability for donors who reasonably inspect food before donating it to charitable or religious organizations for needy individuals. This immunity does not apply if the donor acted negligently, recklessly, or with intentional misconduct, or if the donor knew or should have known the food was harmful. The immunity also applies to food that is not readily marketable due to factors like appearance or freshness, but still safe for consumption.
