Pennsylvania HB588 mandates older adult abuse recognition and reporting education for nurses.

Pennsylvania HB588 amends the Professional Nursing Law to require registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to complete one hour of continuing education on older adult abuse recognition and reporting every two years. The bill also allows for waivers in cases of serious illness, military service, or other hardship.
