HB571 creates the Rebuild Pennsylvania Board, Program, and Fund to allocate money for various community needs. The Board will allocate funds for flood control, disaster response, green infrastructure, redevelopment, storm water infrastructure, brownfield cleanup, contaminant remediation, business development, energy efficiency, and transportation infrastructure. The money can be used for grants, loans, or other financing. The Board will dissolve once all funds are exhausted and duties completed. The Act takes effect immediately.
