Pennsylvania HB514 amends Title 58 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to allow municipalities to spread brine produced from oil or gas wells on roads within their boundaries for dust suppression or road stabilization. The bill prohibits state agencies from requiring authorization or approval for this practice. Brine must not be spread within 150 feet of a stream, creek, lake, or other body of water. This act takes effect immediately.
