Pennsylvania HB48 amends Title 75 to create a special arts registration plate for vehicles. The Department of Transportation, in consultation with the Council on the Arts, will design the plate. Applicants pay a $41 fee in addition to the annual registration fee. The Arts Promotion Fund, established within the State Treasury, will receive $15 of each fee. The fund's money is appropriated to the Council on the Arts for grants. The act takes effect in 60 days.
