Pennsylvania HB448 amends the Radon Certification Act to ensure that data relating to individuals and radon gas contamination at nonpublic properties remains confidential, except for use in legitimate scientific studies. The Department of Environmental Protection is prohibited from releasing this data to anyone other than the property owner or a previous owner during the time the data was gathered. This bill aims to protect personal and property-specific radon data from unauthorized disclosure.
