Pennsylvania HB424 amends Titles 45 and 65 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to allow political subdivisions and municipal authorities to satisfy public notice requirements by using redundant advertising on the Internet. If a political subdivision or municipal authority is required to advertise in a newspaper of general circulation, it may also publish a redundant advertisement on its publicly accessible Internet website. If the newspaper advertisement fails to be timely published, the advertisement shall be valid on the date it was redundantly advertised on the Internet.
