Pennsylvania HB407 amends Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to redefine the crime of stalking. A person commits stalking if they engage in a course of conduct or repeatedly commit acts toward another person, including following the person without proper authority, under circumstances which demonstrate an intent to place the other person in reasonable fear of bodily injury or to cause substantial emotional distress.
