The board includes the Director of the Office of Policy and Planning, the Secretary of Agriculture, the Secretary of Environmental Protection, the Secretary of Transportation, and two active farmers appointed by the Governor. The Secretary of Agriculture chairs the board and can select an alternate active farmer. The board must determine within 60 days if there is a feasible and prudent alternative to condemnation.
