Pennsylvania HB307 amends the Uniform Construction Code to mandate access aisle widths for individuals with disabilities.

Pennsylvania HB307 amends the Uniform Construction Code to require the Department of Labor and Industry to promulgate regulations. These regulations mandate that any new access aisle added after the effective date of the bill must be 96 inches wide. Additionally, existing access aisles that are less than 96 inches wide must be altered to 96 inches when the parking lot is relined during typical maintenance schedules after the effective date of the bill.
