Pennsylvania HB30 amends the Real Estate Appraisers Certification Act to allow the issuance of an appraiser trainee license. This license is for individuals who meet the educational requirements set by the board and do not already hold an appraiser credential. An appraiser trainee must operate under the direct supervision of a certified residential appraiser or certified general appraiser, who must have at least three years of experience and supervise no more than three trainees. The trainee can assist in appraisals within the supervisor's scope of practice.
