Pennsylvania HB2703 amends vehicle definitions and penalties for pedalcycles with electric assist.

Pennsylvania HB2703 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to redefine "pedalcycle with electric assist" as a vehicle weighing up to 100 pounds, with two or three wheels over 11 inches in diameter, equipped with an electric motor system rated at not more than 750 watts, and capable of a speed not exceeding 20 miles per hour on a level surface when powered by the assist.
