Introduced Text

Pennsylvania HB267 amends the Pennsylvania Election Code to enhance voting assistance for voters with disabilities.

HB267 amends the Pennsylvania Election Code to improve voting assistance for voters with disabilities. It requires the judge of election to record details of assisted voters in a book provided by the county board of elections. Voters with disabilities can request assistance from election officers, and at least two officers from different political parties must assist them. The bill also allows voters with disabilities to vote from their vehicles and mandates that the county election board permit registration commissions to examine records of assisted voters.
