Pennsylvania HB2615 amends vehicle registration to expand criteria for disability plates and placards.

Pennsylvania HB2615 amends Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to expand the criteria for issuing special registration plates and placards for persons with disabilities. The bill allows the issuance of special plates to individuals who are blind, lack full use of an arm or both arms, cannot walk 200 feet without resting, or require assistance from a brace, cane, or another person to walk. It also includes individuals with severe arthritic, neurological, or orthopedic conditions, those using portable oxygen, and those with certain cardiac conditions.
