Pennsylvania HB2614 prohibits the manufacture, sale, and distribution of medical devices containing DEHP.

Pennsylvania HB2614 amends Title 35 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to prohibit the manufacture, sale, and distribution of intravenous solution containers and intravenous tubing made with intentionally added DEHP, effective January 1, 2030, and January 1, 2035, respectively. The bill also prohibits replacing DEHP with another ortho-phthalate in medical devices and limits unintentionally added DEHP in intravenous solution containers and tubing to below 0.1% weight per weight.
