Pennsylvania HB2595 amends the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act to mandate interconnection reviews by electric distribution companies.
Pennsylvania HB2595 amends the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act by adding a new section on interconnection reviews. Electric distribution companies must determine during a scoping meeting if an interconnection feasibility study, an interconnection impact study, or an interconnection facilities study is required for interconnection applications. If a study is needed, the company must provide the results within 15 days for a feasibility study or 60 days for an impact or facilities study. This applies to applications submitted after the effective date of the amendment.
